Members of AIRROA/SC are welcome to attend and participate in the Quarterly General Body Meetings which are held at the Railway Officers’ Club , South Lallaguda , Tarnaka Road , Secunderabad on the third Saturday of Jan , Apr , July and Oct every year .
Apart from meeting their old colleagues and interacting with them on the occasion , members can also partake of the lunch served at the end of the GBM.
Members attending the GBM will be handed over their copy of the Railders’ Guardian . Those who could not attend the GBM will be mailed their copy by post to their residential address as per records of the Association. Members can avail themselves of all initiatives like the exclusive annual executive health check up conducted at the Railway Hospitals at Secunderabad and participate in cultural / social activities along with their spouse / family like picnics , overnight sightseeing trips , conducted tours etc.
Members will also have access to all contents of the official website including the option to participate in the Group Chat , view earlier issues of the Railders’ Guardian ( since 1992) , download circulars relevant to retired railway officers and also other trivia of working of railways besides having quick access to various routinely used sites like Pravas , HRMS , PNR status , IRCTC booking etc.
Members can contribute by way of articles , news reports, personal official and experiences , memories of memorable events related to railways which they wish to share on the Personal Corner of the website.
