Types and eligibility

The following are the categories of membership :

Life Member (LM) :

Retired Railway Officers of the Indian Railways, who pay a lump sum of Rs.2000/- or such other sum as may be fixed by the General Body from time to time, are eligible to become Members and deemed to be Life Members (This shall be only a one-time payment).

Associate Member (AM) :

Railway Officers in service on the Indian Railways on payment of a lump sum amount of Rs.2000/- or such other sum as may be fixed by the General Body from time to time (This shall be only a one-time payment). They automatically become Life Members on retirement without any further payment.

Spouse of deceased Life Members and Associate Members automatically become Associate Member without any further payment.
